We designed our brand new state-of-the-art office with our employees in mind–from floor to ceiling windows to a fully-stocked pantry to a putting green and more. Our office, which opened June 2022, is located in Annapolis, a lively, waterfront city positioned between Baltimore and Washington D.C. There are plenty of dining options and endless activities to keep you entertained after work and on the weekends.
We adhere to a business casual dress code Monday through Thursday with casual Fridays.

LOAN OFFICERLEARN MORE

MORTGAGE LOAN PROCESSORLEARN MORE
- Gather and prepare all necessary documentation for the loan package
- Order supporting documentation as needed to complete the package
- Determine any issues early in the process to complete the loan in a timely manner
- Research applicant credit status and current financial position
- Prepare and maintain all paperwork for existing and new loans, including loan disclosures
- Complete loan contracts and ensure customers are kept informed of the rules and requirements
- Submit files to the designated Underwriter
- Act as point of contact between loan officers and underwriters
- Ensure you comply with the established regulations and law requirements
- Follow-up with clients to verify important information
- Prioritize workflow so loans close on time
- Provide excellent customer service to borrower, loan officer, vendors, and other interested parties
- Maintain current knowledge about the industry and changing market trends
- Stay current with federal, state regulations, policies, and industry trends
- Bachelor's Degree in business or mathematical discipline, or relevant experience

STAFF ACCOUNTANTLEARN MORE
- Performs general cost accounting and other related duties for the organization.
- Prepares monthly balance sheets, income statements, and profit and loss statements.
- Maintains the general ledger.
- Codes invoices, sets up new accounts, reconciles accounts, and closes the monthly books.
- Reconciles bank accounts at least monthly, verifies deposits, and addresses inquiries from banks.
- Reconciles cash disbursement accounts, payroll, customer accounts, and other financial accounts; manages accounts receivable collections.
- Verifies and/or completes payment of invoices associated with accounts payable and ensures payments are charged to the appropriate accounts.
- Provides outside auditors with assistance; gathers necessary account information and documents to perform annual audit.
- Files tax forms with federal, state, and local government agencies.
- Coordinates with software vendor to maintain accounting software systems; recommends updates to enhance the accounting software.
- Manages the purchasing and invoicing system.
- Maintains knowledge of acceptable accounting practices and procedures.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- 1‐3 years of experience in an accounting role, preferably within the mortgage or financial services industry
- Excellent understanding of best financial practices and accounting processes
- Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, or Sage Intacct
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
