We designed our brand new state-of-the-art office with our employees in mind–from floor to ceiling windows to a fully-stocked pantry to a putting green and more. Our office, which opens June 2022, is located in Annapolis, a lively, waterfront city positioned between Baltimore and Washington D.C. There are plenty of dining options and endless activities to keep you entertained after work and on the weekends.
We adhere to a business casual dress code Monday through Thursday with casual Fridays.

- Manage incoming leads by phone, email, text, and CRM
- Interview applicants to analyze financial and credit data, determine financing objectives, and advises customer on product, pricing, and process
- Collect and analyze client’s financial information
- Gather all required information and follow loan from application to closing, ensuring continued communication with the customer throughout the process
- Evaluate credit worthiness by processing loan applications and documentation within specified limits
- Communicate with clients either to request or to provide information
- Determine estimated value of customers home using all resources available (Zillow, other resources that may be available)
- Maintain and update account records
- Operate in compliance with laws and regulations and adhere to lending compliance guidelines
- Keep informed of trends and developments in the reverse mortgage industry, as well as changing rules and regulations pertaining to reverse mortgage products
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, strong detail orientation, and highly organized
- Familiarity with computers and banking applications/software preferred but not required
- Works with a strong sense of urgency and responsiveness

- Demonstrated patience and professionalism when interacting with customers

SOFTWARE ENGINEERLEARN MORE
- Using technical knowledge, creativity, company practices, and priorities to obtain solutions to complex problems
- Update and maintain existing web applications written in PHP utilizing Laravel
- Monitor, review, maintain, and update as needed our external WordPress site
- Participate in design architecture for the front-end application and justify the development approach
- Coding, testing, and documentation of development and maintenance
- Develop new features, as well as enhance existing features as we grow and scale
- Design highly scalable, testable code
- Discover and fix programming bugs as needed
- Stay in tune with software and industry technology trends to ensure our product stays best of breed for present and future
- Collaborate with a team of engineers, stakeholders, and decision makers to drive our technical and business goals
- 2+ years of experience preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or other related discipline preferred
- Knowledge of all phases of software development including design, coding, testing, debugging, implementation, and support
- Experience writing and reviewing software design specifications in an object-oriented development environment
- Experience with PHP + Laravel or other web development frameworks and languages
