We are seeking hardworking, energetic, team-oriented individuals to join our team who are ready to elevate their sales career to uncapped new heights. We have paid training and licensing to prepare you for your new role. As an Account Executive, you will work with pre-screened inbound leads developed by the company - there is no cold-calling or lead generation required. Your job is to provide a consultation to help clients meet their retirement goals and present mortgage opportunities over the phone. You will educate the customer on the product and the process, and will work with the customer throughout the process from start to finish.

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound leads by phone, email, text, and CRM
• Interview applicants to analyze financial and credit data, determine financing objectives, and advise customer on product, pricing, and process
• Collect and analyze client's financial information and credit worthiness
• Communicate with client to provide or request information and request all required documentation
• Operate in compliance with laws and regulations and adhere to lending compliance guidelines

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required
• Involvement in Sports, Greek Life, college clubs/organizations preferred
• Detail oriented and organized with ability to manage multiple priorities
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Motivated and driven by sales

Full Job Description

In this role you will work on-site in our Annapolis, MD office and will process reverse mortgage loan files to help customers submit complete loan applications. You will be primarily responsible for gathering, organizing, reviewing, processing, establishing, and maintaining reverse mortgage loan documentation files.

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to)

• Gather and prepare all necessary documentation for the loan package
• Order supporting documentation as needed to complete the package
• Determine any issues early in the process to complete the loan in a timely manner
• Research applicant credit status and current financial position
• Prepare and maintain all paperwork for existing and new loans, including loan disclosures
• Complete loan contracts and ensure customers are kept informed of the rules and requirements
• Submit files to the designated Underwriter
• Act as point of contact between loan officers and underwriters
• Ensure you comply with the established regulations and law requirements
• Follow-up with clients to verify important information
• Prioritize workflow so loans close on time
• Provide excellent customer service to borrower, loan officer, vendors, and other interested parties
• Maintain current knowledge about the industry and changing market trends
• Stay current with federal, state regulations, policies, and industry trends

Qualifications (Knowledge & Experience)

• Bachelor's Degree in business or mathematical discipline, or relevant experience
• Experience with mortgage loan software programs preferred
• Knowledge of legislation and best practices preferred
• In-depth knowledge of closing procedures, loan processes, and documentation
• Good multitasking abilities with outstanding time management skills
• Highly detail oriented
• Ability to work with strict deadlines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a high pressure, goal-oriented environment

If you are interested in an exciting company to help build the Accounting Team, then we have the perfect opportunity for you. SRM is looking for a Staff Accountant to be responsible for auditing accounts and recording the business transactions of our company. In this role, you will prepare and maintain financial records to track the organization’s assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liabilities, and other related financial activities. This role will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer.

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to)

• Performs general cost accounting and other related duties for the organization.
• Prepares monthly balance sheets, income statements, and profit and loss statements.
• Maintains the general ledger.
• Codes invoices, sets up new accounts, reconciles accounts, and closes the monthly books.
• Reconciles bank accounts at least monthly, verifies deposits, and addresses inquiries from banks.
• Reconciles cash disbursement accounts, payroll, customer accounts, and other financial accounts; manages accounts receivable collections.
• Verifies and/or completes payment of invoices associated with accounts payable and ensures payments are charged to the appropriate accounts.
• Provides outside auditors with assistance; gathers necessary account information and documents to perform annual audit.
• Files tax forms with federal, state, and local government agencies.
• Coordinates with software vendor to maintain accounting software systems; recommends updates to enhance the accounting software.
• Manages the purchasing and invoicing system.
• Maintains knowledge of acceptable accounting practices and procedures.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications (Knowledge & Experience)

• Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance, or related field
• 1‐3 years of experience in an accounting role, preferably within the mortgage or financial services industry
• Excellent understanding of best financial practices and accounting processes
• Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, or Sage Intacct
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Ability to manage deadlines and work in a high‐pressure environment.
• Display exemplary ethical behavior when working with confidential financial documents.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with staff members.
• High attention to detail.
